A graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Joe's journeyman career of over

35 years on stage and screen has taken him to places as diverse as remote indigenous communities to the Sydney Opera House 

and Hollywood.

While regular television roles have made him 

recognisable, dynamic stage characters have given him the anonymity of a chameleon.
